La naturaleza, con su presencia sutil y persistente, atraviesa mi obra como un hilo conductor que conecta, transforma y resignifica imágenes, materiales y experiencias. Como si de alguna manera buscara mi paraíso perdido.
Me interesa el contacto manual con el papel como punto de partida. Trabajo con imágenes encontradas que recorto, aíslo y reconfiguro, desplazándolas de su contexto para construir nuevas asociaciones y activar una memoria afectiva.
El collage es para mí un ejercicio de presencia y conciencia frente a la saturación de imágenes de nuestro tiempo. Un gesto de pausa y de rebelión ante la velocidad de lo digital. Mi proceso es intuitivo, fragmentario y no lineal.
Desde allí, extiendo la obra hacia lo cotidiano: la traslado a objetos y formas portables que entran en contacto con la vida diaria. Me interesa ese espacio de encuentro, donde el arte deja de ser algo distante para convertirse en una presencia cercana, capaz de generar pequeñas irrupciones poéticas-útiles en lo cotidiano.
Nature, with its quiet yet persistent presence, runs through my work as a thread connecting, transforming, and giving new meaning to images, materials, and experiences. In a way, I feel I am searching for a lost paradise.
My practice begins with a tactile, hands-on relationship with paper. I work with found images, cutting, isolating, and reconfiguring them, taking them out of their original context to create new associations and evoke personal and collective memories.
For me, collage is a way of slowing down and paying attention in a time saturated with images. It is a gesture of pause, and perhaps also a form of resistance to the speed and immediacy of the digital world. My process is intuitive, fragmented, and non-linear, allowing unexpected connections and meanings to emerge along the way.
From there, I bring the work into the everyday, translating it into objects and wearable or portable forms that become part of daily life. I am drawn to this space of encounter, where art moves beyond the distance of the gallery or the image and becomes something intimate and present—capable of creating small, poetic, and useful disruptions in the ordinary.
